Cuccio Colours: swatches and review – part 2

Happy monday everyone!
Today I’ve got four more Cuccio Colours swatches for you. Part one can be found here.
Apologies for the inconsistent photo quality – I’ve tried my best to retouch these to make the polishes colour correct, which has left my hands looking a bit dead. My temporary photo set up is really wonky…
But onto the polishes!

Cuccio Glasgow Nights 1 coatCuccio Glasgow Nights 1 coatGlasgow Nights is first up. This is a warm toned dark forrest green, a shade I often crave for fall. In poor lighting this can be mistaken for black, but most of the time it’s a beautiful deep green. It’s also a one-coater! Dries fairly glossy, but I topped it with Seche Vite. I have some possible dupes, keep an eye out for a comparison post.

Cuccio Los Angeles Luscious 3 coats

Cuccio Los Angeles Luscious 3 coatsLos Angeles Luscious is a warm beige with lots of gold shimmer. Nude de luxe! This is what I hoped Essence Irreplaceable would be. Two thick coats here, no top coat. I wore this as a full mani a few weeks ago, for two whole days without boredom or chipping which is rare in my world.

Cuccio Moscow Red Square 2 coatsCuccio Moscow Red Square 2 coatsMoscow Red Square is a red raspberry-leaning shimmer. Looks warmer in the bottle than it does on the nail. Very sweet and mild as reds go, neither christmassy nor vampy. Feels a bit like stained glass. This is two coats plus topper.

Cuccio Vegas Vixen 1 coatCuccio Vegas Vixen 1 coatVegas Vixen has a blue tinted base full of different sized but small silver glitters, a real glitter bomb. On the nail the end result has a charcoal gray feel to it. This is also a one coater! It definitely needs top coat if you’re not fond of gritty finish.

I’m not sure if I can pick a favourite out of these four, they all have such different personalities. But taking fall into consideration, I’d say Glasgow Nights is most season appropriate. But it’s not fall yet. Is it? I don’t really do seasons, I just follow my moods. What about you?

If you’re in Sweden you can get your Cuccio Colours at Åhléns City and PUB in Stockholm or in various salons (I’ll get back to you with more info on where to find a list of salons). Nailsupplies and Transdesign also offer Cuccio Colours.
