Today at work – I love my job btw – I got wind of this being National Punctuation Day! That’s national for the US, not for Sweden or Egypt or anywhere else, just FYI. But nonetheless – the idea of any kind of Punctuation Day makes me purr out loud. English is my third language and I’m sure I make loads of mistakes both regarding punctuation and otherwise, but I love any kind of initiative that shines a light on lingual issues, regardless of which language. Wow, I’m such a nerd. Yes, I do wear glasses. Big round Harry Potter frames – check.
I had to sneak this day onto the blog somehow and suddenly remembered I have the perfect untried candidate for an afternoon manicure – Gloss N Sparkle Quote Unquote! Isn’t it just perfectly named for wearing today?
Quote Unquote is a glitter topper with black & white, teal, red/orange and neon yellow matte glitter. I think this could build up to opacity in maybe three coats. This was one and a half, dabbed onto thermal polish Happy/Earthy from Claire’s.
I got Happy/Earthy through a swap ages ago and think it’s discontinued. Quote Unquote is bought from Llarowe, but right now I can’t find it there. However the Etsy shop of Gloss N Sparkle carries it, but only ships to Australia.
Now, let me know – did I choose an appropriate polish for National Punctuation Day? And is this blog post well punctuated? Oh and hey, this blog post is green, and it’s Wednesday… get it? It’s Green Wednesday again over at Karin‘s blog! Go be green.
